maintaining and increasing visibility and inclusion for all bisexual people
RECOGNISE. CELEBRATE. EDUCATE
Acknowledge the bisexual community, celebrate bisexual individuals, and their contributions to society.
Highlight the challenges and issues faced by bisexual people, including bisexual erasure and the unique prejudices they may encounter.
Encourage the acceptance and support of bisexual individuals within the broader LGBTQIA+ community and society at large.
The day is part of Bisexual Awareness Week, which runs from September 16th to 23rd, leading up to Bisexual Visibility Day. During this week, various events, campaigns, and activities are organised to educate and promote understanding of bisexuality.
