ASEXUAL AWARENESS WEEK
LGBTQIA+ ACE WEEK
formerly Asexual Awareness week occurs October 23rd - 29th, and was created to both celebrate asexuality, aromantic, demisexual, and grey-asexual pride and promote awareness.
it is an annual event that aims to raise awareness and visibility for asexuality and the asexual spectrum. It usually takes place during the last full week of October. The week focuses on educating people about asexuality, a sexual orientation characterised by little or no sexual attraction to others, and promoting acceptance and understanding of the asexual community.
ACE Week is a time to celebrate asexual identities, foster discussions about asexuality, and address misconceptions surrounding it. It also highlights the diversity within the asexual spectrum, including identities like demisexuality and gray-asexuality.
The event encourages asexual individuals and allies to share stories, host events, and advocate for greater representation and inclusion in society.
